URAP - Undergraduate Research at UCB

The Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program (URAP) is designed to involve Berkeley undergraduates more deeply in the research life of the University. The Program provides opportunities for you to work with faculty on the cutting edge research projects for which Berkeley is world-renowned. Working closely with faculty, you will deepen your knowledge and skills in areas of special interest, while experiencing what it means to be part of an intellectual community engaged in research.

Use your Winter and Spring Breaks for Science

Enjoy a couple weeks in December with family and friends but January can offer the chance for field training, visiting research labs, joining a professional organization or attending a conference. Department of Energy Internships

These student programs allow participants taking at least a half-time academic, technical, or vocational course load in an accredited high school, technical, vocational, two- or four- year college or university, graduate or professional school to be part of a cooperative-learning environment.

CalTeach Summer Research Institute

 

The Cal Teach Summer Research Institute is a nine-week program for math, science, and engineering undergraduates interested in pursuing a career in education, and is open to students from across the UC system who will have completed at least 60 units..
