URAP - Undergraduate Research at UCB

The Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program (URAP) is designed to involve Berkeley undergraduates more deeply in the research life of the University. The Program provides opportunities for you to work with faculty on the cutting edge research projects for which Berkeley is world-renowned. Working closely with faculty, you will deepen your knowledge and skills in areas of special interest, while experiencing what it means to be part of an intellectual community engaged in research.

Student Learning Center for Tutoring and Study Sessions

Anticipate a challenging class? Check out the Student Learning Center before the semester starts so you know the time line to enroll in an adjunct class, set up tutoring or join a study group. Check with the department offering the class for a list of tutors. Did you know Econ offers special tutor sessions?

Use your Winter and Spring Breaks for Science

Enjoy a couple weeks in December with family and friends but January can offer the chance for field training, visiting research labs, joining a professional organization or attending a conference. These student programs allow participants taking at least a half-time academic, technical, or vocational course load in an accredited high school, technical, vocational, two- or four- year college or university, graduate or professional school to be part of a cooperative-learning environment.

Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) for 2015

The Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) program encourages undergraduate students to purse science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM careers by providing research experiences at the Department of Energy (DOE) laboratories. Selected students participate as interns appointed at one of 15 participating DOE laboratories.

The Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) program encourages undergraduate students to purse science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM careers by providing research experiences at the Department of Energy (DOE) laboratories. Selected students participate as interns appointed at one of 15 participating DOE laboratories. They perform research, under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists or engineers, on projects supporting the DOE mission.
