Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a summer intern who is interested in developing and improving web applications. The intern will be a member of a software team, working with software engineers, scientists, and designers, to improve apps that visualize, plot, and analyze data. The successful intern will be working at the Sandia's California campus during the summer 2014.

The Tapia Conference provides scholarships for students (undergraduate/graduate), post-docs and a limited number for faculty. Scholarships include conference registration, meals during the conference, hotel accommodations, and a reimbursable travel stipend. Tapia scholarships are generously funded by government and industry organizations.

To support the Conference goals of celebrating diversity in computing, scholarships will be reviewed and evaluated by the Scholarship Committee according to three, main criteria:

The Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) program encourages undergraduate students to purse science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM careers by providing research experiences at the Department of Energy (DOE) laboratories. Selected students participate as interns appointed at one of 15 participating DOE laboratories. They perform research, under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists or engineers, on projects supporting the DOE mission.
